Verse (30:58), Word 13 - Quranic Grammar

The thirteenth word of verse (30:58) is divided into 3 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix, verb and emphatic suffix. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is qāf wāw lām (ق و ل). The suffixed emphatic particle is known as the nūn of emphasis (نون التوكيد).

Sahih International: And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muhammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers."
