Verse (2:65), Word 8 - Quranic Grammar

The eighth word of verse (2:65) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is qāf wāw lām (ق و ل). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.
