Verse (2:50), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (2:50) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is ghayn rā qāf (غ ر ق). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.

and We drowned

Sahih International: And [recall] when We parted the sea for you and saved you and drowned the people of Pharaoh while you were looking on.
