Verse (29:8), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (29:8) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The form III perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine dual. Sahih International: And We have enjoined upon man goodness to parents. But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them. To Me is your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do.
