Verse (27:91), Word 15 - Quranic Grammar

The fifteenth word of verse (27:91) is an imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is first person singular and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is kāf wāw nūn (ك و ن). The verb (اكون) belongs to a special group of words known as kāna and her sisters (كان واخواتها).
