Verse (27:41), Word 8 - Quranic Grammar

The eighth word of verse (27:41) is an imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is third person feminine singular and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is kāf wāw nūn (ك و ن). The verb (تكون) belongs to a special group of words known as kāna and her sisters (كان واخواتها).
