Verse (21:9), Word 7 - Quranic Grammar

The seventh word of verse (21:9) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is hā lām kāf (ه ل ك). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.
