	Mansour 29th April, 2013 Salam. For this verb, you gave the masdar of another verb, and even not the root which is : ب ل ي . This is one door of this verb in -i for aor. See lane's lexicon p 292-294. Then the masdar is بَلَاء.

	Abdul Rahman 30th April, 2013 Brother Mansour is right. This verb's triliteral root is ba lam ya, and the perfect form is baliya. This root appears only once in the entire Quran.
	Asim 14th October, 2014 Root seems to be ب ل و after detailed study, though some books have mentioned it under ب ل ي also. Lane has mentioned it under ب ل و and detailed study of it is recommended specially see V1, page 256, column 3. See: http://ejtaal.net/aa/#q=blw This is Form I (i-a). Notice the difference in meaning shade of this word and remaining form I verbs from this root used in The Qur'an which are on Form I (a-u) Also see my message posted just before this message. It is not unusual to have different meaining shade for different form I verbs from different abwaab.
