Verse (18:27), Word 10 - Quranic Grammar

The tenth word of verse (18:27) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A preposition, noun and possessive pronoun. The prefixed preposition lām is usually translated as "for". The noun is feminine plural and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The noun's triliteral root is kāf lām mīm (ك ل م). The attached possessive pronoun is third person masculine singular.
