Verse (18:24), Word 12 - Quranic Grammar

The twelfth word of verse (18:24) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A verb and object pronoun. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is hā dāl yā (ه د ي). The of the first person singular object pronoun has been omitted due to elision (الياء محذوفة), and is indicated by the kasrah.
