Verse (18:16), Word 15 - Quranic Grammar

The fifteenth word of verse (18:16) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and verb. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form II imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's triliteral root is hā yā hamza (ه ي أ).
