Verse (15:3), Word 4 - Quranic Grammar

The fourth word of verse (15:3) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and object pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form IV imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's triliteral root is lām hā wāw (ل ه و).
