Verse (15:32), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (15:32) is an imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is second person masculine singular and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is kāf wāw nūn (ك و ن). The verb (كان) belongs to a special group of words known as kāna and her sisters (كان واخواتها).
