Verse (14:12), Word 13 - Quranic Grammar

The thirteenth word of verse (14:12) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is second person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is hamza dhāl yā (أ ذ ي). The suffix (التاء) is an attached subject pronoun. The attached object pronoun is first person plural.

Verse (14:12)

The analysis above refers to the twelfth verse of chapter 14 (sūrat ib'rāhīm):

Sahih International: And why should we not rely upon Allah while He has guided us to our [good] ways. And we will surely be patient against whatever harm you should cause us. And upon Allah let those who would rely [indeed] rely."
