The 23rd word of verse (12:80) is a masculine proper noun and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The case marker is a fatḥah instead of a kasrah because the proper noun is a diptote (ممنوع من الصرف).

Sahih International: So when they had despaired of him, they secluded themselves in private consultation.
