Verse (12:107), Word 1 - Quranic Grammar

The first word of verse (12:107) is divided into 4 morphological segments. An interrogative alif, supplemental particle, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed alif is an interrogative particle used to form a question and is usually translated as "is", "are", or "do". The supplemental particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so".
