Verse (11:9), Word 10 - Quranic Grammar

The tenth word of verse (11:9) is divided into 2 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix and noun. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The indefinite noun is masculine singular and is in the nominative case (مرفوع).
