Verse (11:9), Word 1 - Quranic Grammar

The first word of verse (11:9) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, emphatic prefix and conditional particle. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis.
