Verse (11:58), Word 11 - Quranic Grammar

The eleventh word of verse (11:58) is divided into 4 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form II perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is nūn jīm wāw (ن ج و). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun. The attached object pronoun is third person masculine plural.
