Verse (11:12), Word 11 - Quranic Grammar

The eleventh word of verse (11:12) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A verb and subject pronoun. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine plural and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is qāf wāw lām (ق و ل). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.

Verse (11:12)

The analysis above refers to the twelfth verse of chapter 11 (sūrat hūd):

Sahih International: Then would you possibly leave [out] some of what is revealed to you, or is your breast constrained by it because they say, "Why has there not been sent down to him a treasure or come with him an angel?" But you are only a warner. And Allah is Disposer of all things.
