Verse (11:109), Word 16 - Quranic Grammar

The sixteenth word of verse (11:109) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, accusative particle and object pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The accusative particle belongs to a special group of words known as inna and her sisters (ان واخواتها). The attached object pronoun is first person plural.

Verse (11:109)

The analysis above refers to the 109th verse of chapter 11 (sūrat hūd):

Sahih International: So do not be in doubt, [O Muhammad], as to what these [polytheists] are worshipping. They worship not except as their fathers worshipped before. And indeed, We will give them their share undiminished.
