Verse (10:72), Word 14 - Quranic Grammar

The fourteenth word of verse (10:72) is an imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is first person singular and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is kāf wāw nūn (ك و ن). The verb (اكون) belongs to a special group of words known as kāna and her sisters (كان واخواتها).
