Verse (10:28), Word 11 - Quranic Grammar

The eleventh word of verse (10:28) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The form II perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is zāy yā lām (ز ي ل). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.
