The triliteral root sīn fā hā (س ف ه) occurs 11 times in the Quran, in four derived forms:

  • once as the form I verb safiha (سَفِهَ)
  • twice as the noun safāhat (سَفَاهَة)
  • once as the noun safah (سَفَه)
  • seven times as the noun safīh (سَفِيه)
