Quran Dictionary - ق ب س


The triliteral root qāf bā sīn (ق ب س) occurs three times in the Quran, in two derived forms:

  • once as the form VIII verb naqtabis (نَقْتَبِسْ)
  • twice as the noun qabas (قَبَس)
