Quran Dictionary - ن ض د


The triliteral root nūn ḍād dāl (ن ض د) occurs three times in the Quran, in two derived forms:

  • once as the adjective naḍīd (نَّضِيد)
  • twice as the passive participle manḍūd (مَّنضُود)
