The triliteral root mīm wāw rā (م و ر) occurs three times in the Quran, in two derived forms:

  • twice as the form I verb tamūru (تَمُورُ)
  • once as the noun mawr (مَوْر)

(67:16:11) tamūrusways أَأَمِنْتُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ
