«ما» مفعول به لـ«قلت». و«أن» مصدرية، والمصدر المؤول بدل من الهاء في «به»، و«ربي» بدل من الجلالة. و«ما» في «ما دمت» مصدرية زمانية، والمصدر ظرف زمان متعلق بـ«شهيدًا»، وجملة «فلما توفَّيتني» معطوفة على جملة «كنت عليهم»، و جملة «وأنت على كل شيء شهيد» معطوفة على جملة «وكنت عليهم شهيدًا».
