Chapter (3) sūrat āl ʿim'rān (The Family of Imrān)

«سواءً» خبر ليس، وهو في الأصل مصدر؛ لذا جاز أن يخبر به عن الواحد فما فوقه. وجملة «من أهل الكتاب أمة» مستأنفة. وجملة «يتلون» نعت ثان لأمة،والجمع باعتبار الأمة. وجملة «هم يسجدون» حال من فاعل «يتلون». وقوله «آناء» ظرف زمان متعلق بـ«يتلون»، مفردها أَنَى.
