جملة «فكان لغلامين» خبر المبتدأ «الجدار». جملة «فأراد ربك» معطوفة على جملة «كان لغلامين». المصدر «أن يبلغا» مفعول به، «رحمة» مفعول لأجله، والجار متعلق بنعت لرحمة، وجملة «وما فعلته» مستأنفة، و الجار «عن أمري» متعلق بحال من التاء، وجملة «ذلك تأويل» مستأنفة.
