«أضغاث» خبر لمبتدأ محذوف أي: هي. وجملة «وما نحن بعالمين» معطوفة على مقول القول: «هي أضغاث أحلام»، «ما» الحجازية تعمل عمل ليس، «نحن» اسمها، والباء في « بعالمين» زائدة، والجار «بتأويل» متعلق بـ«عالمين».
