Verse (9:75), Word 9 - Quranic Grammar

The ninth word of verse (9:75) is divided into 3 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix, verb and emphatic suffix. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The form V imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is first person plural and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is ṣād dāl qāf (ص د ق). The suffixed emphatic particle is known as the nūn of emphasis (نون التوكيد).

Sahih International: And among them are those who made a covenant with Allah , [saying], "If He should give us from His bounty, we will surely spend in charity, and we will surely be among the righteous."
