Verse (7:86), Word 13 - Quranic Grammar

The thirteenth word of verse (7:86) is divided into 4 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is second person masculine plural and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is bā ghayn yā (ب غ ي). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun. The attached object pronoun is third person feminine singular.
