Verse (7:72), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (7:72) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is qāf ṭā ʿayn (ق ط ع). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.

The analysis above refers to the 72nd verse of chapter 7 (sūrat l-aʿrāf):

Sahih International: So We saved him and those with him by mercy from Us. And We eliminated those who denied Our signs, and they were not [at all] believers.
