Verse (7:64), Word 7 - Quranic Grammar

The seventh word of verse (7:64) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is ghayn rā qāf (غ ر ق). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.

Sahih International: But they denied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the ship. And We drowned those who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a blind people.
