Verse (7:43), Word 29 - Quranic Grammar

The 29th word of verse (7:43) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The passive form III perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is nūn dāl wāw (ن د و). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.

Verse (7:43)

The analysis above refers to the 43rd verse of chapter 7 (sūrat l-aʿrāf):

Sahih International: And We will have removed whatever is within their breasts of resentment, [while] flowing beneath them are rivers. And they will say, "Praise to Allah , who has guided us to this; and we would never have been guided if Allah had not guided us. Certainly the messengers of our Lord had come with the truth." And they will be called, "This is Paradise, which you have been made to inherit for what you used to do."
