Verse (7:132), Word 9 - Quranic Grammar

The ninth word of verse (7:132) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A result particle and negative particle. The result particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate the result of a condition. The negative particle acts like the verb laysa (ليس). This verb belongs to a special group of words known as kāna and her sisters (كان واخواتها).
