Verse (7:11), Word 14 - Quranic Grammar

The fourteenth word of verse (7:11) is an imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is third person masculine singular and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's triliteral root is kāf wāw nūn (ك و ن). The verb (يكن) belongs to a special group of words known as kāna and her sisters (كان واخواتها).

Sahih International: And We have certainly created you, [O Mankind], and given you [human] form. Then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated.
