Verse (7:115), Word 8 - Quranic Grammar

The eighth word of verse (7:115) is an imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is first person plural and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is kāf wāw nūn (ك و ن). The verb (نكون) belongs to a special group of words known as kāna and her sisters (كان واخواتها).
