فَمَالِ . The explanation of لِ (P – preposition) does not look right. Does the preposition

not come at the beginning of the word.

This is a peculiarity of the Uthmanic Mushaf, that is the form of the word in the original script as written in the presence of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The usual way the expression is spelled is فما للذين .
