Verse (64:9), Word 10 - Quranic Grammar

The tenth word of verse (64:9) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A preposition and proper noun. The prefixed preposition bi is usually translated as "with" or "by". The proper noun is in the genitive case (مجرور). The proper noun's triliteral root is hamza lām hā (أ ل ه). Together the segments form a preposition phrase known as jār wa majrūr (جار ومجرور).

Sahih International: The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.
