Verse (64:14), Word 13 - Quranic Grammar

The thirteenth word of verse (64:14) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is second person masculine plural and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's triliteral root is ṣād fā ḥā (ص ف ح). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.

Sahih International: O you who have believed, indeed, among your wives and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook and forgive - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
