Verse (5:53), Word 11 - Quranic Grammar

The eleventh word of verse (5:53) is divided into 3 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix, location adverb and possessive pronoun. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The location adverb is in the accusative case (منصوب).
