Verse (50:9), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (50:9) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is nūn bā tā (ن ب ت). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.
