Verse (4:48), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (4:48) is a passive form IV imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is third person masculine singular and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is shīn rā kāf (ش ر ك).

Sahih International: Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.
