Verse (4:26), Word 12 - Quranic Grammar

The twelfth word of verse (4:26) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A resumption particle and proper noun. The connective particle wa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The proper noun is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The proper noun's triliteral root is hamza lām hā (أ ل ه).

Verse (4:26)

Sahih International: Allah wants to make clear to you [the lawful from the unlawful] and guide you to the [good] practices of those before you and to accept your repentance. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
