Verse (46:32), Word 7 - Quranic Grammar

The seventh word of verse (46:32) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A preposition and active participle. The prefixed preposition bi is usually translated as "with" or "by". The indefinite form IV active participle is masculine and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The active participle's triliteral root is ʿayn jīm zāy (ع ج ز). Together the segments form a preposition phrase known as jār wa majrūr (جار ومجرور).

Sahih International: But he who does not respond to the Caller of Allah will not cause failure [to Him] upon earth, and he will not have besides Him any protectors. Those are in manifest error."
