Verse (35:27), Word 9 - Quranic Grammar

The ninth word of verse (35:27) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is khā rā jīm (خ ر ج). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.

Sahih International: Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby fruits of varying colors? And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying shades and [some] extremely black.
