Verse (34:33), Word 23 - Quranic Grammar

The 23rd word of verse (34:33) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". Verse (34:33)

The analysis above refers to the 33rd verse of chapter 34 (sūrat saba):

Sahih International: Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Rather, [it was your] conspiracy of night and day when you were ordering us to disbelieve in Allah and attribute to Him equals." But they will [all] confide regret when they see the punishment; and We will put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved. Will they be recompensed except for what they used to do?
