Verse (33:7), Word 9 - Quranic Grammar

__

The ninth word of verse (33:7) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and proper noun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The proper noun is masculine and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The case marker is a fatḥah instead of a kasrah because the proper noun is a diptote (ممنوع من الصرف).
